#1 – Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh Castle is an obvious yet must-see location during a trip to Edinburgh.

Built in 1633, the Castle has occupied this spot for centuries, and offers some phenomenal views across the city.

#2 – The Edinburgh Festival Fringe
So, this is a more seasonal destination. But nonetheless, the Edinburgh Fringe is one of the biggest festivals in the world, with performers travelling from all corners of the globe to showcase their talents just for you.
A family-friendly event, the Fringe provides entertainment for all ages. Included in the line-up each year are children’s shows, comedy, dance, theatre, circus and cabaret, musicals, opera, as well as events and exhibitions.
