Ok you have booked your flight, you have decided where you are going to stay, but how are you going to make your way round the UK. Well don’t despair if your reading this then hopefully you have considered renting a car in the UK. How To Book A Rental Car

Choose When And Where In The UK You Need Your Rental Car
So our booking tool makes it easy, just select your pickup location exact dates and times, this is important, as rates change at different times and dates. Once you have selected hit the button search now. Our system behind the scenes will look at all out suppliers at the location you have selected, and will return on the screen many different cars and rates, along with pictures and guides.

So, you now need to work out which car will suit your needs. If you are travelling alone you may just need a small car. Car rental groups are shown in the following format.

Mini Car, Economy Car, Compact Car, Intermediate Car, Standard Car, Full Size Car, Premium Cars and lastly Full-Size Van (7 Seater)

Once you have found the car that suits your needs either size or budget, then move onto booking.
When your making your booking, you will be asked some details about your home address, this enables you to get the rental car quicker when you arrive.
 

What Documents Are Needed.

This is a question that pops up all the time. If your collecting from an Airport location, please have your passport and drivers licence ready for inspection. If your collecting from a city location, please have your licence and passport to hand. If you live in the UK please also bring an up to date utility bill dated within the last three months.

Rates And What Is Included
Our rental rates are fully inclusive of CDW, Liability Insurance, Theft Protection, The only part you need to worry about is the insurance excess.

Car Rental Insurance Excesses

 Rental Vehicles are covered, but do have an excess. An excess is like your own car insurance, if you had an accident you would have to pay the excess amount. Our excesses range from £900 - £1100 depending on size of car. Full details of this is itemised on screen when looking at the rental car available.

Security Deposits

You will be required to leave a security deposit when you collect your car, this is £250, this is only a preauthorisation, and the hold is released on return of the rental car without damage.

Credit Cards

You will need a credit card to rent the car, with sufficient funds to cover the cost of the rental duration and security deposit.

Drivers Licence

You and all accepted drivers must be in possession of a full, valid driving licence for at least one year. Also, the following conditions apply dependent on the issuing country of the driving licence.

UK Driving Licences

In addition to your licence, either a valid and up to date DVLA licence check code or a printed DVLA endorsement record must be provided for all Approved Drivers. A valid DVLA code or printed endorsement can be obtained from the DVLA website (www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence). For the validity of the code, please refer to the DVLA guidelines. Drivers under 23 years of age must not have any endorsements on their licence. For drivers 23 years of age and older, the maximum number of points on the licence is 6. However, some endorsements on your licence may restrict your ability to drive the vehicle, even if you have 6 or less points on your licence. EU Driving Licences

Valid driving licences of all other EU countries are accepted in the UK without further requirements.

All Other Licences

Driving Licences printed with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, and Cyrillic) must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit.
